Biohazard First Response (4)

A four hour course to provide individuals tasked with responding to a potential biohazard incident with the knowledge and training to safely assess site hazards. The course provides the necessary training to react strictly in a defensive manner. There are no prerequisites for the course. Subjects covered include recognition and characteristics of biohazards, types such as Anthrax and Smallpox, methods of exposure, symptoms, treatments, decontamination, testing methods, protection, role of state and local government agencies, and other weapons of mass destruction.
